The Rams’ ability to perform effectively on offense continues to be hampered by a long list of injuries. The Rams’ first offensive unit failed to score a touchdown during a 21-10 loss to the Browns.
Three starting offensive linemen might miss practice time. X-rays of the neck of guard Leo Goeas were negative, but he continues to be bothered by neck spasms. Guard Tom Newberry suffered a hip pointer and tackle Jackie Slater injured a big toe.
The team ordered tests on Henry Ellard’s ailing ankle, but Coach Chuck Knox said the results were negative.
