4 Intruders Rob Lake Forest Family
Four intruders, one armed with a sawed-off shotgun, stormed a Lake Forest home late Tuesday night and stole jewelry, cameras and a television set while a woman and her two children were present.
The 25-year-old woman and her children, whose ages were not available, were not injured in the robbery on the 25300 block of Via Viejo, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim told authorities she heard a knock on the door at 11:45 p.m. When she opened the door, the robbers forced their way in.
The woman and her children had apparently just moved into the home, Sheriff’s Lt. Dick Olson said. Her boyfriend was not home during the robbery.
Robbers ransacked the house, getting away with some jewelry, cameras and a television set, Olson said.
