OUTLOOK

Most of the players who have been at Dana Hills since they were freshmen were on Murry’s freshman team and “understand how (the coaches) work and what they want,” said Covington. Murry has designed a system based on the talent at hand. For this reason, the Dolphins will pass more with Covington in control. Defensively, Dana Hills will feel the loss of lineman Bennie Smith and linebacker Robert Meeker, all-league first-team picks, but the return of lineman Cruickshank and defensive back Denison, both second-team selections, will help.
