Paraclete 21, Bell-Jeff 7--Junior quarterback Robbie Wood completed seven of 20 passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns to lead Paraclete (1-2) at Burroughs.
Wood threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Drew Harenski to tie the score, 7-7, with 1:41 to play in the first half, and he hit Dan Wegner with a 12-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter to cap a 10-play, 65-yard drive.
Paraclete’s final touchdown came when running back Mike Kendrick (24 carries for 121 yards) scored on a nine-yard run with 1:48 to play.
Bell-Jeff (0-3) took a 7-0 lead on its first possession when James Jackson’s six-yard touchdown run capped an eight-play, 70-yard drive. Jackson rushed for 107 yards in 11 carries.
