San Marino 27, Harvard-Westlake 17--Despite 134 yards rushing and two touchdowns by Harvard-Westlake running back Don Donester, the Division VIII finalist Titans clinched the victory on Vince Hoffman’s one-yard touchdown run with three minutes to play at Harvard-Westlake. The score was set up by Ryan Molina recovering Donester’s second fumble on the Wolverine 23-yard line.

Donester’s first fumble came on the game’s first play from scrimmage and led to a San Marino touchdown, a six-yard run by Geoff McAdam (47 yards in 14 carries). McAdam also scored from one yard midway through the third quarter to cap an 11-play, 80-yard drive.
