L.A. Baptist 34, Fillmore 7--Quarterback Zack Hernandez completed 19 of 35 passes for 373 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Knights (4-0) at Monroe High.
Hernandez connected with wide receiver Jim Romero on scoring passes of 57 and 21 yards. Romero caught six passes for 170 yards.
Knight receiver Dana Berg hauled in 11 passes for 180 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
Jeff Symington led the L.A. Baptist ground attack, gaining 77 yards in five carries and scoring from 43 yards on the first play of the third quarter. Felix Zuniga rushed for 134 yards in 25 carries for Fillmore (1-3).
