Canyon 19, Orange 12--Jeff Hamilton scored eight goals and Aaron Harries added six for Canyon (15-7, 2-2). Marshall Meresh scored seven goals for Orange.

Foothill 20, Santa Ana Valley 9--Matt Schuler scored six goals for Foothill (14-6, 4-0). David Vega had six goals for Santa Ana Valley.

Brea-Olinda 8, Western 7 (sudden death)--Tad Murphy scored the decisive goal, his fourth of the game, for Brea-Olinda (17-6, 6-0).

In the Sea View League:

Corona Del Mar 16, University 4--James Palda scored six goals to lead second-ranked Corona del Mar (18-3, 6-0).

Irvine 12, Saddleback 7--Jason Lezak scored seven goals for Irvine (16-7, 3-2). Randy Grosse had five goals for Saddleback.

Newport Harbor 14, Woodbridge 8--Adam Cleary scored seven goals and Brad Pence added four for host Newport Harbor (13-7, 5-1), ranked sixth in Orange County. Chris Talbott scored six goals for Woodbridge.

Santa Margarita 10, Tustin 8--Paul Ferguson scored five goals for visiting Santa Margarita (14-9, 2-3), which scored five fourth-quarter goals.

In the Sunset League:

Edison 9, Fountain Valley 8--Rob Cibrowski scored the game-winner at the buzzer, his fifth goal of the game, to lead Edison (14-10, 4-2). Fountain Valley is 12-12, 3-3.

Servite 15, Westminster 5--Jerry Smith scored four goals for eighth-ranked Servite.

In Olympic League girls’ volleyball:

Calvary Chapel 3, Capistrano Valley Christian 0--Jenny Roberts and Courtney Owens each had 10 kills as Calvary Chapel, ranked No. 1 in Division VI, defeated the seventh-ranked Eagles, 15-6, 15-12, 15-7.
