Liberty National Bank: The Huntington Beach bank recorded a profit of $137,658, or 14 cents a share, for the third quarter. That was down 70% from earnings of $451,384, or 46 cents a share, for the same period of 1992. The bank attributed the reduced profit to the continuing recession. Year-to-date profit declined 62% to $513,121 from $1.4 million. Total assets as of Sept. 30 were $158 million, 12% lower than the $178.6 million reported for the same date in 1992.
