Man Crossing Street Hit, Killed by Truck

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A 46 year-old Stanton man was struck and killed by a pickup truck while crossing in the middle of a block Wednesday, police said.
The pedestrian, whom police identified as Arthur Moorman Kleppinger, was hit while crossing Adams Avenue, near Huntington Street, and died at the scene.
A Westminster man was driving west on Adams when his pickup hit Kleppinger. The driver was not injured and was not cited, according to Lt. Jeff Cope.
