Irish Forever, unbeaten in four starts on the turf, is the 5-2 favorite in the $250,000 Miesque, one of two stakes for 2-year-olds on today’s Hollywood Park card.

Irish Forever is a sister of Totem And Taboo, who scored an 18-1 upset eight days ago on the Hollywood Park grass. Irish Forever was beaten by 25 lengths in a $25,000 maiden claiming race in her first start, then blossomed after being switched to the turf.

She capped her four-race streak--at four tracks--with a 4 1/2-length victory in the Selima at Laurel on Oct. 16. Jorge Chavez, who was aboard for her victory in the Salem County at the Meadowlands on Sept. 24, will be here to ride today.

Twice The Vice, who has won two in a row for owners Robert and Beverly Lewis, is the 3-1 second choice in her grass debut. Most recently, the Vice Regent filly was an easy winner of the seven-furlong Anoakia Stakes at Santa Anita.

Delineator, whose only loss in his four-race career was inflicted by Brocco, is the 5-2 favorite in the Generous Stakes. The Miesque, which will go as the fifth race, and the Generous, which will go as the eighth, will both be run at one mile and each carries a $250,000 purse.
