After Corbin finished a disappointing 10th in the Orange County Championships in October, Coach Randy Rossi said Corbin seemed to decide she wasn’t going to let it happen again. “She worked extra hard to do the best she possibly could,” Rossi said. It would be hard to do much better. Saturday, Corbin finished third in 18 minutes 14 seconds in the State Division I race and led the Vaqueros to the team title, upsetting Palos Verdes Peninsula, 85-97. Corbin also won the Sea View League title and was fourth in the Southern Section meet.
