Faye Hagan, a sophomore guard, has left the Cal State Fullerton women’s basketball team, Coach Deborah Ayres said.

Hagan, who started all three of Fullerton’s games this season, was averaging seven points and nine rebounds. “She wants to play in a system where she can score,” Ayres said.

Ayres said Hagan made the decision to leave after Fullerton’s season-opener against Arizona. The Titans’ Autumn Hollyfield scored 32 points in that game; Hagan was two of 12 from the floor and had seven points.

Southern California College middle blocker Genevie Wright has been named to the National Assn. of Intercollegiate Athletics’ West Region women’s volleyball team by the American Volleyball Coaches Assn.
