Outlook: As usual, Santa Ana will be in the hunt for a section title. Pacieznik returns six starters and 12 lettermen off a team that came within two victories of winning Santa Ana’s second section title in three years. The Saints won the Orange County Summer League for the second time in three years and were also Orange tournament champions for the second consecutive year. Santa Ana’s best player is Candido Lopez, who was the summer league’s MVP. Mata backs up a defense that should be one of the county’s best.
