Fire Damages Classroom Structure
A fire blazed through a classroom building at Campbell Hall School in Studio City on Saturday night, causing considerable damage to the structure but no injuries, authorities said.
The fire, which began just after 6 p.m. at 4533 N. Laurel Canyon Blvd., was extinguished in 15 minutes, said spokesman Jim Wells of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Wells said fire officials were unable to estimate the cost of the blaze, which also damaged another building.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, he said, although Wells said it did not appear to be suspicious.
