Belmont 66, Marshall 60--Center Jesse Yun scored a game-high 23 points Friday in a Northeast League game at Marshall.

Guard Soon Hong added 22 points for the Sentinels.

Los Angeles 78, Hamilton 70--Despite blowing a 20-point halftime-lead, Los Angeles hung on to win a Coastal Conference game at Hamilton on Friday. Guard Brandon Thomas led all scorers with 18 points and Cedric Gardner chipped in 17. Bell 60, Locke 54--Freddie Alcala scored the first six points in overtime as Bell won its third consecutive Southeastern Conference game at Locke on Friday.

Locke sent the game into overtime on Ronald Smith’s jump shot.

Alcala hit a three-point shot to begin overtime. After Locke missed its shot, Alcala scored on a layup and was fouled. He hit the free throw to put Bell up 56-50. Dorsey 83, Banning 79--Senior forward Ricky Blackmon poured in 32 points and had seven steals as Dorsey won a Southern Pacific game at home Friday. Dorsey guard Sherwin Morgan, who went 4-for-4 from behind the three-point line, scored all of his 13 points in the second half. Roosevelt 71, Huntington Park 51--Roosevelt held Joe Covarrubias to six points in the first half and jumped out to 44-23 halftime lead en route to a Southeastern Conference win at home Friday.

Covarrubias finished with 17 points, but Huntington Park did not threaten in the second half.

Mario Hernandez had 19 points to lead Roosevelt. After missing nine games with sprained right ankle, Roughrider 6-2 forward Gerardo Arangure had 12 points and seven rebounds.
