Share

College placement exams scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Los Angeles-area sites have been postponed until February because of disruptions caused by Monday’s quake, the Educational Testing Service announced Thursday.

The locations affected are: El Camino, Garfield, Hamilton, Los Angeles, Roosevelt, San Fernando, University and Van Nuys high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District; Harvard-Westlake School in Studio City; Cal State Northridge, and Canyon High School in Santa Clarita.

More than 3,000 students were scheduled planned to take the Scholastic Aptitude Test or achievement tests at those sites. Educational Testing Service officials said students will be notified in writing of the date and site of their makeup test. Those who cannot take the test on that date may transfer to the March 19 testing date or have their fees refunded.
