Partial Listing of Deaths Related to Monday’s Quake

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office said Thursday that 51 deaths are currently reported as being earthquake related, but the cause of many of the deaths will remain pending until full autopsies are completed and each case is reviewed.

Here are names of some of those who died.

Those who died in the collapse of the Northridge Meadows apartment building were:

Angeline (Ann) Cerone, 80; Sharon Englar, 58; Phil Englar, 62; Darla Raye Enos, 43; Pil Soon Lee, 46; Hwon Lee, 14; Cecilia Pressman, 72; David Pressman, 72; Bea Reskin, 71; Jaime Reyes, 19; Karol Runnings, 48; Manuel D. Sandoval, 24; Adam Slotnik, 27, and Myrna Velasquez, 18.

Others who died in the quake:

Jerry Borman, 67, Santa Clarita; Pearl Carr, 70, Granada Hills; Norman Cole, 79, Granada Hills; Los Angeles Police Officer Clarence W. Dean, 46; Ted Peter Fichtner, 28; Leonard Glasser, described as in his 60s, no residence listed; Hannah Kamiya, 75, Los Angeles; Gennady Khytman, 45, West Hollywood; Burton Krell, 59, Northridge; Kevin C.
