Poetry Series Debuts With ‘Super Saturday’
Global Arts Productions will begin its 1994 poetry and spoken word series Saturday with “Super Saturday--The Super Bowl of Spoken Word,” a benefit for the St. Joseph’s Center in Venice. Performers will include Paul Krassner, Luis Alfaro, Danny Peck and authors Hubert Selby Jr. and Danny Sugarman.
The “Super Saturday” performance will take place at 7 p.m. at the On the Waterfront Cafe, located at 205 Ocean Front Walk, Venice. Tickets are $12 and include a $2 coupon redeemable for drinks or food.
