Fred Di Palma of Savanna and George...
Fred Di Palma of Savanna and George Pascoe of Huntington Beach have been selected coaches for the 35th Orange County North-South All-Star Football Game, which is scheduled July 8 at Orange Coast College’s LeBard Stadium.
Di Palma will coach the North and Pascoe the South for the game, sponsored by the Orange County Youth Foundation. The South roster will be announced April 9 and the North’s on April 16.
Di Palma led Savanna to the Southern Section Division VI title. Huntington Beach finished 13-1 under Pascoe, losing to Los Alamitos in the Division II championship game.

Cypress High has named Don Turnbull boys’ track and field coach, replacing Ray Fenton.
Turnbull, a 1986 Cypress graduate, returns for his second tour of duty with the Centurions; he coached cross-country from 1988-1990. Turnbull most recently was cross-country and track coach at La Quinta.
