Sarah Hagman of Crescenta Valley High scored 27 points and set a Southern Section one-season record for three-point baskets Wednesday, while leading the Falcons to a 50-38 victory over Pasadena in a Pacific League game.

Hagman, who made four three-point baskets against Pasadena, has made 115 this season, breaking a record set a season ago by Chino’s Amee Pina, who finished with 112.

Crescenta Valley Coach Marc Ward stopped the game in the second quarter when Hagman scored her 113th and honored her achievement by handing her the game ball. Hagman, who owns the Southern Section mark for most three-pointers in a game with 13, scored 12 of her 27 points in the second quarter to fuel the Falcons’ 28-20 halftime lead.
