OXNARD : Police Arrest 5 in Theft From School
Five Oxnard residents, including two juveniles, have been arrested for attempting to steal $3,000 worth of computer equipment from Channel Islands High School, police said Monday.
Police said witnesses saw the five climbing a school fence about 2 p.m. Sunday.
Several minutes later, two Oxnard bicycle patrol officers located the five and the computer equipment in a nearby neighborhood.
Those arrested in connection with the burglary include the juveniles--ages 14 and 16--and three others, identified as Andy Bernardino, 18; Ramon Martinez, 20, and Raul Hernandez, 18.
