TWO AT TWENTY-FIVE: The senior pastors of the east San Fernando Valley’s biggest evangelical churches are marking 25 years in their respective posts.

The Rev. John MacArthur, 54, observed a quarter-century at the pulpit of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley this month. The Rev. W. A. Criswell of Dallas First Baptist Church was a guest preacher at the service honoring MacArthur.

The Rev. Jack Hayford, 59, on June 19 will celebrate his 25 years of pastoring at the First Foursquare Church of Van Nuys, familiarly known as the Church on the Way.
