El Toro ‘Y’ Plans to Be Meetings’ Topic

A series of meetings about the El Toro “Y’s” reconstruction begins tonight in Laguna Hills and continues throughout the month in several South County cities.

Officials from the Orange County Transportation Authority and the state Department of Transportation will present an overview of the 2 1/2-year, $105-million project, intended to improve the often-congested confluence of the Santa Ana and and San Diego freeways. Speakers will also offer suggestions on using alternative routes and mass transit to avoid congestion in the construction area.

The Laguna Hills meeting tonight is at City Hall, 25201 Paseo de Alicia, Suite 150.

All meetings will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The series will continue at the following locations:
