The South squad will be coached by former Nevada Las Vegas Coach Jerry Tarkanian.

Ventura forward Brandon Jessie and point guard Joey Ramirez, Antelope Valley guard Danny Prince and College of the Canyons guard Randy Eason were selected. Jessie and Ramirez will participate only if Ventura is not involved in that night’s state championship final.

Ventura (34-2), ranked No. 1 in the state, will face Consumnes River (22-9) in a first-round game Thursday at 8 p.m. The semifinals are Friday and the championship game will follow the all-star game.
