Ending a monthlong sting operation, authorities have arrested five Oxnard residents on suspicion of conspiracy to possess and sell cocaine and heroin, sheriff’s deputies said Tuesday.

The operation, conducted by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and Oxnard police, ended Monday when Norma Bosar, 35, and Francisco Alatorre, 31, sold nine ounces of cocaine to an undercover agent, authorities said.

Jose Alatorre, 33, and Jose Campos, 18, who allegedly acted as bodyguards and lookouts, were also arrested at the time of the sale, deputies said.

Guadalupe Alatorre, 25, was also taken into custody, but details of her alleged involvement in the operation were not available late Tuesday.

After the arrests, authorities armed with a search warrant found an additional half-ounce of heroin and three ounces of cocaine at Francisco Alatorre’s residence on Gonzalez Road in Oxnard, deputies said.

The street value of the drugs was estimated at $25,000, deputies said.

The suspects were booked at the Ventura County Jail, authorities said.
