Harvard Is Team to Beat at Irvine Tennis Meet
Several of the top men’s tennis teams in the nation will compete today through Saturday in the 15th UC Irvine-Marriott Classic at sites throughout Orange County.
Sixteen schools, including host Irvine, top-seeded Harvard (No. 14 in the nation), No. 20 Alabama Birmingham and No. 34 Fresno State, will participate. The final is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Irvine.
The tournament will be played at UCI Tennis Stadium, Newport Beach Marriott, Newport Beach Tennis Club, Balboa Bay Club and Park Newport.
