Continental Lowers Its Fares to Europe: The spring and summer fares don’t carry typical restrictions, such as minimum stays or round-trip purchases, and are fully refundable. The fares are up to 50% off prevailing unrestricted prices, and 10% to 20% below restricted spring and summer sales from most U.S. cities, Continental said. Tickets must be purchased by April 21. The new fares are available from most U.S. cities of origin to Frankfurt, Munich, London, Madrid and Paris. Continental is offering sale prices for travel through April and May. Summer fares will be higher after June 1, depending on whether the trip is taken on a weekend.
