Share

My life and many other people’s lives were put at risk by years of above-ground nuclear testing at the Nevada test site from direct exposure and from nuclear fallout. In the early 1960s, at a very young age, I was exposed to nuclear fallout in my community, miles from the Nevada test site. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer before the age of 30, and my doctor attributed it to my early exposure.
