BUENA PARK : Whittier Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash
A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed early Sunday after reportedly running a red light and striking a car, police said.
Police identified the man as Lewis Angeles Campbell of Whittier.
Police Sgt. Jim Dixon said the crash occurred about 12:40 a.m. at Crescent Avenue and Beach Boulevard.
According to police, Campbell was speeding east on Crescent Avenue, ran a red light and collided with a car heading north on Beach Boulevard.
He was transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead 30 minutes later.
The driver and passenger of the car were transported to the Anaheim Medical Center for treatment. Their conditions were not available Sunday.
