FULLERTON : Man’s Gunshot Death in Park Called Suicide

The body of a man who apparently committed suicide was found in a park Thursday morning, police said. Their was a single gunshot wound to the head of the man, who appeared to be in his mid-40s.
Lt. Tony Fernandez said investigators found a .38-caliber handgun next to the body, which was discovered about 8:30 a.m. by a visitor to Craig Regional Park near the 300 block of North State College Boulevard, Fernandez said.
He said there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol in or near the body.
