Man, 42, Found Dead in His Home
A 42-year-old man was found dead in his home in an upscale neighborhood Friday morning, Los Angeles police said.
The cause of death was not disclosed, but detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Division are working with investigators from the department’s Robbery-Homicide Division on the case, said Officer John Lopata.
Police withheld the man’s name.
The dead man, who a neighbor said was the father of three young children, was found at his home on Lemarsh Street, which neighbors described as a quiet street.
“We have mostly families living here,” said neighbor Edward Locicero. “Nothing ever happens here.”
