NCAA Is Guilty of Looking to East
It’s an outrage that the NCAA awarded no Division I baseball regionals to the West, which has six of the top 15 teams in the country. If the NCAA is to be believed, they “inadvertently stapled Long Beach State’s application to another one,” and didn’t even consider the 49ers’ bid to be host to the regionals. The NCAA is guilty of incompetence and an Eastern bias. Maybe Western schools should “inadvertently” forget to pay their dues.
