Condo Columnist Honored

“Condo Q&A;” columnist Jan Hickenbottom has been honored by the Community Assns. Institute for her columns written in response to readers’ questions about quake-related problems after the Northridge earthquake.

“Always offering common-sense solutions, Jan’s columns were an invaluable source of information for community associations and their homeowners who were struggling with monumental problems,” said CAI secretary Sue Dyckmans, in presenting an award to Hickenbottom at the group’s recent national convention in San Francisco.

Hickenbottom began writing the “Condo Q&A;” column more than four years ago. An active CAI volunteer, she has worked in the community association management industry for 15 years. She now runs her own consulting business.
