Parisi Signs With Marlins
Cal State Fullerton pitcher Mike Parisi said Friday he had signed with the Florida Marlins, who drafted him in the sixth round of the amateur draft.
Parisi said he will receive a $69,000 signing bonus, $20,000 for college expenses and $7,500 in incentives based on how well he does in the minor leagues. He said will leave June 19 to play in Elmira, N.Y., in the New York-Penn rookie league.
