Former NASL coaches and executives don’t fade away--they just hang around World Cup games.
Gordon Jago, who coached the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the now-defunct NASL, was among the credentialed masses Saturday. At one point, he had a lengthy chat with Dallas venue press officer Jim Trecker, who was a public relations official with both the NASL and the Cosmos.
