RAIDERS : Teams Have Short Workouts in Barcelona
The Raiders and Denver Broncos took it easy in preparation for their exhibition opener in Spain.
The AFC West rivals arrived in Barcelona on Tuesday after 12-hour-plus overnight trips, shook off the jet lag long enough to have brief workouts and then took guided tours of the Mediterranean city.
The Raiders and Broncos will play Sunday at the Olympic Stadium. Barcelona, host of the 1992 Summer Olympics, drew 45,330 for its first American Bowl last year. The city was the home of the World League of American Football’s Barcelona Dragons for two seasons.
