SAN CLEMENTE : Aides Sought for City’s Annual Fiesta
The Chamber of Commerce is seeking help to run the city’s annual San Clemente Fiesta.
Volunteers are needed to make a diverse slate of events run smoothly, from the Fiesta 5000 run to the street festival on Avenida del Mar.
The fiesta will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday on three stages set up on Avenida del Mar, between El Camino Real and Calle Seville.
Besides the many food and game booths, activities will include contests for pie-eating, dancing and other competitions.
The fourth annual San Clemente Fiesta Salsa Challenge will also be held during the festival.
The run and a health fair will start the fiesta at 8 a.m. Volunteers are needed for both events.
People interested in helping the chamber can call (714) 492-1131 to participate in street festival events.
Road race volunteers can call Chuck Narey at (714) 492-5307.
