Weekend TV : It’s World Series Time, Little League Division
There may be a baseball strike, but there’s still a game of national, and local, interest to be played, even if it’s on a smaller level.
In a schedule change, KABC-TV Channel 7 will televise live the Little League World Series championship today between Venezuela and Northridge at 12:30 p.m. on “Wide World of Sports.” The game will be delayed on Channel 10 at 2:30 and on Channels 3 and 42 at 3:30.
Several of the weekend public service programs will have reports on the Cuban refugee crisis and the passage of the crime bill.
