Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : Cable Problem Disrupts Power
SANTA CLARITA —
About 1,500 Canyon Country residents were without power for a few hours early Friday morning.
An underground cable malfunctioned, disrupting power at 12:53 a.m. to residents in the North Oaks neighborhood, said Southern California Edison spokeswoman Christina Bradley.
Power was restored to 90% of the customers by 2:52 a.m., with the remainder by 6:10 a.m., Bradley said.
