OUTLOOK

The Warriors advanced to the Division X title game last season, losing to L.A. Baptist, 43-21, but few players from that team remain. Brethren graduated 16 seniors, including 12 starters, the most prominent of which--Reggie Davis (Washington), Darryl Jones (Washington State) and Keith Washington (CP San Luis Obispo)--earned scholarships to NCAA Division I schools. Babcock, a second-team all-league pick at defensive back, takes over for Davis at quarterback, and the Warriors, who rushed for more than 3,100 yards last year, will look to pass more. Much depends on the development of the team’s 20 newcomers.
