Hollywood 20, Los Angeles 16--Quarterback Nuggy Agun scored the winning touchdown, his second of the game, with seven seconds remaining to lead the Sheiks over the Romans at L.A. Friday.
Hollywood scored first after linebacker Virgil Lamb recovered a blocked punt in the end zone, giving the Sheiks a 6-0 halftime lead.
The Romans’ offense came to life in the second half behind quarterback Patrick Regan, who sat out in the first half due to a disciplinary action. Regan, who completed 7 of 9 passes for 83 yards, led Los Angeles on two long scoring drives, which were capped by touchdown runs by Julian Rush and Randy Simmons.
