Nunn (43-2, 28 KOs), who lost his WBA super middleweight title in February, knocked out Mexico’s Salvador Maciel (19-6) with a left uppercut to the eye 54 seconds into the first round of their scheduled 10-round bout at the Silver Nugget Casino in North Las Vegas.
Brown (42-3) had a tougher time with Maciel’s brother, Nestor (24-6), rallying in the final three rounds to take a close but unanimous 10-round decision.
