Belmont 12, Los Angeles 6--Steven Mohica kicked two field goals and quarterback Marvin Gomez scored on a one-yard sneak as Belmont squeaked by host Los Angeles in a nonleague game.
With 11 seconds left, the Romans had the ball on the Sentinel’s five-yard line. Los Angeles quarterback Patrick Regan threw a bullet to Trey Kitchen, who dropped the pass in the end zone.
Regan, who scored on a one-yard run, completed 15 of 31 passes for 182 yards with two interceptions. Anthony White caught six passes for 85 yards.
