Roosevelt 24, Jordan 13--The Roughriders dominated the second half of a Central League game at Jordan in handing the Bulldogs their 29th consecutive loss.

Jordan scored on a 43-yard pass from Termel Goss to Mitch Friend to open a 13-10 lead with 9:12 in the third quarter, but Roosevelt outgained the Bulldogs after that, 143 yards to five.

Junior running back John Pineda scored two touchdowns in the last eight minutes for Roosevelt, on runs of three and 15 yards.

Jordan, winless since 1991, had two spectacular touchdown plays nullified by penalties. A 72-yard pass from Goss to Friend in the second quarter and a 91-yard run by Kevin Harris in the third were called back. Goss completed eight of 15 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns, with one interception.
