McCoy’s Passes Keep Utah Perfect
Utah’s Mike McCoy threw for five touchdowns, tying his career-best performance, as the Utes remained undefeated by rolling over Wyoming, 41-7, Saturday night.
Utah (4-0, 1-0 in the Western Athletic Conference) held Cowboy running back Ryan Christopherson to 61 yards in 21 carries. He had been ranked second nationally, averaging 182 yards per game.
McCoy hooked up with Curtis Marsh and Rick Tucker twice each for touchdowns.
McCoy finished with 279 yards in the air, completing 16 of 29 passes with one interception against Wyoming (2-2, 1-1).
