NEWPORT BEACH : Event to Feature Classic, Exotic Cars

Classic and exotic car enthusiasts can feast their eyes at the 12th Annual Newport Beach Concours d’Elegance at Pelican Hill Golf Course Oct. 2.
Race car driver Mario Andretti’s Lola T-332 and another race car owned by a member of driver Dan Gurney’s team will be among the more than 200 cars. Also featured are turn-of-the-century antique horseless carriages, luxury and sports cars and American muscle cars from the 1960s and ‘70s.
The event begins at 10 a.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Proceeds will go to the Assessment and Treatment Services Center, a nonprofit family counseling center. For more information, call (714) 756-0993.
