PREP EXTRA / SATURDAY FOOTBALL PULLOUT : Holloway Scores 3 Touchdowns for Orange Lutheran

Che Holloway scored three touchdowns and Matt Stratton booted a school-record 48-yard field goal as Orange Lutheran rolled to a 41-0 nonleague victory over Pasadena Marshall Friday night at Brea-Olinda High School.

Holloway, recovering from lower back spasms suffered two weeks ago, rushed for a five-yard score on his first carry and added touchdown runs of two and 49 yards in the fourth quarter.

Stratton made his record kick midway through the third quarter after the Lancers (4-1) got possession following Jake Anderson’s safety.

Quarterback Joe Juliano led a balanced Orange Lutheran attack, passing for 178 yards and a touchdown, and running for 94 yards and a touchdown.

Marshall quarterback Jonathan Chambers completed only eight of 23 passes for 71 yards and had three passes intercepted as the Eagles fell to 0-5.

Orange Lutheran’s Aaron Kenney led all receivers with three receptions for 74 yards, while Dan Young added an 18-yard touchdown reception.

Patrick Walker was the Eagles’ only real threat, accounting for 76 yards total offense, on five rushes and five receptions.
