Man Faces More Charges of Molestation
A San Juan Capistrano man already facing charges that he molested 10 girls in South County has been charged with additional counts of molestation.
At his preliminary hearing Friday in Laguna Niguel Municipal Court for the South County charges, Thomas Michael Cimino, 30, was charged with two more counts involving one of the girls.
Charges also were filed in Los Angeles last week involving a Culver City girl.
Cimino, who is free on $100,000 bail, will surrender to authorities next week on the Los Angeles charges, his attorney said Friday.
The preliminary hearing here will resume Oct 21.
Orange County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cimino June 20 after they showed pictures of him to 10 girls age 6 to 10 in Dana Point, San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, Sheriff’s Investigator Mark Simon said.
Authorities allege that Cimino lured girls from their homes and in parks by asking if they could help him find his black-and-white cat.
