From Associated Press

After a fifth-place finish in the Fayette Stakes on Saturday, 1993 Kentucky Derby winner Sea Hero probably will be retired to stud, trainer Mack Miller said in Lexington, Ky., on Sunday.

“I was disappointed,” Miller said of the race. “He probably will go on to the farm. That’s not etched in stone, but I think that’s the next logical move.”

Sea Hero will stand at Lane’s End Farm near Versailles, Ky. Sea Hero, by Polish Navy out of Glowing Tribute, won six of 24 lifetime starts and earned $2,929,869.
