Wanted: ghouls, ghosts, gremlins and other terrifying creatures.

That’s the call being put out by organizers of the Calabasas Days Halloween Parade to be held Saturday.

Entries will be accepted until Thursday, organizers say. All it takes to qualify is to bring costumes that show lots of imagination.

“We want the parade to be known as the biggest Halloween parade in the West,” said Laura Marcinik, the parade’s coordinator.

As of Monday night, there were 40 entrants--or about 600 marchers of all ages--said Marcinik. Those who want to enter can contact Marcinik, (818) 591-9153, Ext. 243.

The parade begins at 4 p.m. and will last about an hour, Marcinik said.

The parade will proceed down Calabasas Road through Old Town to Park Centre, where it will turn left and disband at Park Sorrento.
